Caméléon Boutique & Galerie
Caméléon is a boutique and gallery in the 11th arrondissement of Paris which sells vintage and handmade decor, accessories and artwork. The owner is a former psychoanalyst who has been collecting beautiful objects for 40 years and opened the shop after her retirement. The boutique is a way for her to share her collection and spark conversations and relationships around the objects.

Challenge
Although the boutique is almost 5 years old, it had no visual identity, website or social media presence whatsoever. The exterior of the boutique did not even have a sign. While the shop was frequented by locals who knew the place, most outsiders would pass by, not sure if they were welcome. The new visual identity needed to relaunch the boutique as a hip but friendly outpost for tourists and locals alike to find a completely unique object or gift, and develop a social media presence that would interact with and enhance the neighborhood image.
Result
With the new marketing materials and sign, the number of customers entering the shop and making purchases has increased 4-fold, with more tourists and strollers from outside the neighborhood feeling welcome to enter the shop. By posting still-lifes of the objects on Instagram and Facebook, we created talking points and engaged enthusiasts of vintage and handmade objects, building a small but dedicated community which continues to grow.
